The road closed signs have been taken down and the streets will be getting a fresh new finish to complement the transformation and restoration taking place along West Washington Street.  

As the reinvestment projects continue in downtown, we want to show our continued support to the businesses that have been impacted by this road improvement project. So to celebrate, join us on Friday, May 2, 2014, from 5p.m. until 9p.m., for the “Rock the Block” Downtown Block Party.  

During the event, the 100 block of West Washington Street will be closed to thru traffic from Main Street to Saratoga Street to create a festive and family-friendly environment. Enjoy live music by Shuganamutha, food, retail promotions and other activities. The block party is free and open to the public. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and settle in for an evening of fun.
