8056 Clubhouse Drive
The Cedar Point Clubhouse is the perfect location for your next wedding, retirement party, business meeting, fundraiser, anniversary party or whatever the occasion may be. Their Clubhouse can accommodate up to 200 people for a large function or your smallest intimate gathering during the daytime or evening hours. The clubhouse and surrounding greens offer a breathtaking view of the Nansemond River. Cedar Point can also accommodate larger parties beneath tents on the greens overlooking the river. The club is available for business, civic, charitable and social events.

4700 Sleepy Hole Road
The Historic Obici House at Sleepy Hole Golf Course was built in the 1920's along the banks of the Nansemond River. The Italianate mansion was the home of Amedeo Obici, founder of Planter's Peanuts, and his beloved wife Louise. The Obicis were well known in Suffolk for both their philanthropy and gracious hospitality. Following an extensive renovation, the house has regained much of its original grandeur and now serves as a restaurant and special events venue.
The Obici House is ideal for hosting weddings, galas, reunions, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties and fund raisers, as well as business and civic meetings, club luncheons and conferences. Obici House Catering provides for all of your dining and beverage needs.
447 West Washington Street
This elegantly restored 8,000 square foot Victorian Queen Anne is a unique backdrop to what promises to be an unforgettable wedding. Built in 1907, this monument has been restored to its original grandeur by Heirloom Homes, a nationally recognized restoration company featured on HGTV and in Virginia Living Magazine.
Maximum capacity is185 guests for a reception or party. The Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 90 seated guests, with an additional 30-40 seated guests on the large, wrap-around covered porch area. The Wedding Chapel can accommodate up to 112 guests. Bridal Suite and Groom’s Dressing Chamber on-site. Wired surround sound throughout facility. Site offers disabled access.
1000 Hillpoint Road
The Nansemond River Golf Club is a spacious and beautiful brick clubhouse with a colonial façade that can handle up to 125 people. We also have a smaller room that can accommodate up to 60 guests.
2761 Godwin Boulevard
The National Guard Armory provides more than 7,000 square feet of space for large meetings, banquets, tradeshows, reunions and weddings. It has a classroom, full kitchen and stage. Capacity is 400.
524 North Main Street
Constructed in 2011-12, The Pavilion at the Suffolk Visitor Center is a beautiful, open-air special event venue situated between the Riddick's Folly House Museum and the riverfront Hilton Garden Inn and Suffolk Conference Center. Equipped with built-in sound, ceiling fans, lighting and skylights, this facility provides a lovely backdrop for a wedding ceremony and/or reception.
Seating estimates: 250 Theatre-style; 120-150 Round Tables.
Available a la carte rentals include folding chairs, 6-ft tables, podium, microphone, etc.
Please note that the Pavilion at the Suffolk Visitor Center is not available for private functions on Saturdays from 9am until 4pm, April through November, due to the schedule of the Suffolk Farmers' Market.

Originally utilized as a carriage maker’s shop and later morphed into a sleek jazz club, The Second Floor has found new life as a flexible meeting space. Business meetings, retreats, weddings, baby/bridal showers, receptions, family reunions and most any occasion can be accommodated in this unique space.
110 West Finney Avenue
This former 1922 Suffolk High School has been transformed into the state-of-the-art Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts. This facility offers a 500 seat theater and a 3,860 square foot ballroom, an Executive Board room, as well as, studio and art galleries that double as additional meeting space.
1900 Governor’s Pointe Drive
Since 2006 Vintage Tavern has delivered Southern hospitality and seasonally Southern cuisine with a flair. Our culinary team grow their own herbs, grind their own sausage, pickle, cure, smoke and bake from scratch. Local and regionally sourced produce and seafood is the core of our seasonal Southern cuisine.
Vintage Tavern offers a second floor dining room that will accommodate up to 50 guests for a seated dinner. If you need to have a cocktail area upstairs, 50 guests is the maximum. We can offer cocktails on our garden terrace weather permitting, early in the evening. However, the garden terrace is not available as a private venue after 7pm.
