Food lovers are invited to join the Suffolk Culinary Crawl, offering a guided food tour with tastings at Suffolk’s unique eateries. Led by Suffolk Tourism, attendees will discover the city’s local flavor and enjoy interaction with the chefs and owners, learning about their commitment and passion for great food. Each Culinary Crawl will showcase five eateries, rotating throughout the city’s independent establishments.
The first tour of 2017 is scheduled for Saturday, February 25, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. in Downtown Suffolk and will feature tastes from Stillwater House Tea Room, Mosaic by Holland’s, That Good BBQ, Uncork’d and Amici’s Italian Restaurant. The guided tour will depart from the Suffolk Visitor Center at 524 North Main Street. Tours are limited to twelve attendees and reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis; advance ticket purchase required.
Additional tours will occur throughout the year with the next Culinary Crawl highlighting Harbour View eateries.
